Miracles and more!

September 24, 2018

This week was super fun!

I get so comfortable speaking Spanish that when it comes to translate Spanish to English, I keep saying entonces instead of so, stuff like that. One time this week I called someone purple on accident!

This week was FULL of miracles!

  1. We have been striving this week to ask better questions. Questions that don’t have just one correct answer so the spirit can work with us. And we see how it magnifies the spirit in the lessons. On more than one occasion, I would ask a question, then later, Elder Wilson, and he kept on using the questions I had in mind. After he mentioned, Elder Wilhelm, the questions you asked, I was about to ask them but you said them first. In that moment we realized that those questions didn’t come from us, rather from God.
  2. Literally the transportation was a miracle- usually we have to, at the longest, wait 30 minutes for a certain type of bus to pass by or 15 minutes sometimes. But many times this week we kept on getting lucky, time after time after time! Super awesome especially when we were really in a hurry between appointments.
  3. Finding people on the way. Literally people will just stop missionaries and be like, “Elderes, we have a referall for you” It is so cool. I love how people are really engaged in the work!- Someone was like, hey want a ride, so we hopped in and we talked with the member I recognized from church and ya he wants us to visit his girlfriend who has been investigating the church for a bit.

People who are interested in the gospel!-

Almost all want to be baptized, they are just waiting for their family to join them. I would do the same in the same situation because this gospel is a gospel that blesses families!

The Office (not the show, but comparable ;D) – In one of the pictures below, I am seen programming some quick stuff for the mission like video converters and automatic programs to make the mission easier to handle. I am using almost all of my programming skills I have learned to help. We go down to the office every Wednesday.

Atentamente,

Elder Wilhelm
