A Great Week!

January 21, 2019

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a really good week!

We are studying the Come follow me manuals too and they are awesome. They are focused on the new testament and they have so many activities to do!

There is a Venezuelan family that I keep talking about named the Figueroa family and they are awesome. We just found out that they are not married nor do they have visas completely so they won’t be able to get baptized here soon. But he is coming to church and that is super awesome! We are working more and more in an area called Malaga 2 where it is a more middle-class area so there are more families and people that are coming from other countries and areas. We hope to find many more people there.

The assistant to the president did a companionship exchange with us. Psych he just stayed with us in a trio. It was fun though. We got to pick his brain about what we can do better as zone leaders and we scheduled a couple baptismal dates that day. He is really inspired. Actually, thinking about it, I was in a trio with Elder Brown, from my group (and from Gilbert Arizona), and with Elder Swain (from Roosevelt Utah), also from our group! So that was pretty sweet!

We found some really poor people, like someone named Cristina and her family. They are so ready for the Gospel. Although, we went back to the return appointment and they weren’t there. We´ll find them next time. :S

In the Zone there were 3 baptisms. There was 2 from Metropolis and 1 from La Aurora. Super happy about that. We are looking for people to baptize!

So my companion’s birthday was this past Sunday! Woop! So the Suarez family invited us for cake! Then another Torres family invited us to eat crab and do Family History. The Family History consultant, who wants to go on a mission, named Alisson, has a super great idea to fellowship her friend. A family home evening playing UNO.  It will be awesome.

Thanks for reading and enjoy some pictures!

Why they do this, I do not know.
