My companion is pregnant
April 23, 2018
Okay ready?
Take a deep breath, close your eyes. Ok open them. I am getting transferred this week!
After 6 months with Elder Tafur and a short 6 weeks with Elder Day, I am leaving Samanes. Forever I will be a Samanite. I will be heading to: Guayacanes! Which is the neighboring area ;D Really close!
I think everyone has many times where they have to be patient and work through it. With Elder Day, it was not that way, we got along so well, and I think that might be why President is separating us, because we already overcame nearly all our challenges in the companionship. The other thing is that I have had over 7 months here I think. But honestly, I am pretty content with everything that we have done here with Elder Tafur and Elder Day. When I found out that we were going to have transfers, I thought it was a joke, because other missionaries had already received the info 4 days before more or less. So we, Elder Day and I, got to share a moment of disbelief and a little of sadness because he told me that this transfer is the best he has had, the most fun he has had. Just a little sappy, sorry đ
Oh ya. My companion is pregnant. He is going to have a kid this week. He hopes that his kid wants to work. The new missionary is going to come to replace me here in Samanes on Wednesday more or less. So we are excited for Elder Day and his future son. There won´t be a baby shower, sorry. We have no information about where he is from or what his name is. So I will be replacing an Elder from my group, Elder Hacking. Elder Hacking already left for Quevedo on Sunday. So WOOP we are in a trio!
As far as our very dear investigators, we were joyfully accompanied by the Bucheli Family, they are starting to come to church regularly, although we aren´t able to visit much, because they are almost never in the house, they are coming, showing their faith. The other, who doesn´t have much time, was Ismael. He came to church and asked a bunch of really great questions, but we still need to sit down with him and answer his questions quicker because he has a tonnnn!
Alex has started working in the mornings too, so he has no time for us, but always greets us with a smile that is the happiest I have seen here. Making everyone feel super important by knowing everyone, almost, that passes by his Shawarma shop.
One of our recent converts, Ligia, has decided to return to Venezuela. For those that don´t know what condition is in, I can say that there are many, many people leaving and only missionaries that are from and living in Venezuela can serve a mission in Venezuela. So she will probably be serving a mission there. There are not many that spend months and countless nights tossing and turning to find out which of two of God´s commandments they should follow. But I believe Ligia is one of those people. She has received and answer from God to serve a mission. Her conversion to Christ has affected so many people. Over in Venezuela, her mother and the boyfriend of her mother, were trying to get baptized after they heard the conversion of Ligia. And they had success! I donât know much of what has happened over there but I know that Ligia has been an influence in many lives of many close ones.
I am sorry I donât have much information about my new sector yet because I am still here in Samanes for now. But it has been an excellent 24 hours with these two awesome Elders.
Thanks for reading this week and ya, some photoz!

I love all of you, and keep reading in your scriptures. If you donât know where to focus, I have been analyzing Moroni 7. Super cool. Read it. Youâll see.
