TRANSFERS – HAY CAMBIOS

I am gonna copy here for a second from Sister Emilee Wilhelm´s report. DRUMROLL PLEASE…..

Elder Tafur went to a different area this morning to an area called Milagro, Bella Vista (Miracle, Beautiful View I believe) We got the call Tuesday night and so this whole week we have been like noo don´t go! It was pretty sappy. So we waited there in the bus station for quite a while when Elder Day arrived! My New companion! So he is super tall and has blond hair and blue eyes like Dane!

But about this week we had a week astonishing because we said good bye to all of our recent converts. This past Sunday Night we had a family home evening at Jaime´s house where Ligia and the whole extended family of Jaime were. And we shared how grateful we were for Elder Tafur and his time here in Samanes. He has had about 9 months here. Which is a long time. About 6 of which were with me. So we ended up receiving a bunch of stuff from Marcelo. Like candy and some souvenirs for Elder Tafur

We had Conferencia de la Estaca, Stake Conference. Oh my goodness. Wow, when you read the scriptures and there are the prophets exhorting the people there, that was the conference. There was Marriage Council and the importance of the scriptures and the Sabbath day. The Stake President Juaquin Rodriguez said that if you want to fully, fully repent of big mistakes within the marriage, seek help from the bishop and go seven times. Just as seven times in the River Jordan.

Woaah. You have to read this. One of our good brothers, a convert of 3 months was called to be the President of the Quorum of Elders. Elder Tafur confirmed him the Melchizedek Priesthood the day before he left. Elder Tafur has been here from his baptism to his higher Priesthood .

We had a family, Familia Barzola, come to the Conference without invitation. We thought they didn´t want to hear a word more from us but they went at 8:30 when the Conference started at 10:00 in the morning. Wow, what faith they have. The Familia Galindez is moving, but moving to a house in the ward boundaries. In the family, Abraham Galindez found work with Jaime.

We haven´t found many people to teach this week but we started teaching Brother Bucheli Again. But this time, we are teaching the daughter, Nicole. Who is ten. We hope, by teaching her, we can enter the heart of the father. So it seems that it is working. Both his kidneys were dying too. So we gave him a blessing of health. Powerful. So recently he has been transferring his blood to get rid of the toxins. He is getting much, much better. He now wants to come to church, he was before dying inside I think, just super tired. But now, let’s hope it all goes well.
