Venezolanos!

Every day this week was just like Wow! Today was a great day.

Started off teaching this Venezuelan family about the church, I don’t know I already talked about them but they have a church that already 12 apostles so that was pretty interesting. We were thinking dropping them because they aren’t reading praying or going to church. But we went by to check on them and they said they had read in the pamphlet and liked. That is contrary to someone that was born here moved to Canada and moved back so he speak English perfectly and we called him and he said, I read the pamphlet, Meh, it’s boring. That made me laugh a little. I love to see people that come to church for the first time and they say: Meh that was boring, but they go again and listen. And they come back and are so lit up because they learned something new about a spiritual topic!

Meanwhile in Malaga 2, a gated community, we keep on finding more and more Venezuelans. They are super nice! And guess what? We were talking with a woman like 25ish and after we were talking at the door and were about to head out she told us why don´t you the next week join the 10 of us when we all eat arepas for dinner in this house and talk. So they legit invited us to a family home evening without even knowing it. It is going to be great!

One of the sisters called and said, “hey could you give me a blessing” so we headed over and gave a blessing to her. It was a super spiritual moment. We are hoping and praying everything goes well for her!

There is so much more that happened this week but I don´t have the time to write it all. Perhaps I’ll record an mp3 with the voice recorder of Elder Peery and send that the next week so you can hear how awesome the 2 intercambios were!
