This week was super interesting. At points, I felt different. I realized halfway through the week, and literally said aloud, My soul is hungry. So I have been reading, more of the Missionary Library. And wow, what a feeling to read English, page after page, after only reading Spanish for so long. At the same time, I am still work ing hard at reading the whole Book of Mormon aloud in Spanish. Now don´t get me wrong, I am not saying, ooh look at that, I testify that the words of the prophets are true. That I have seen that by fulfilling the promises that there lay within, the blessings of God I see everywhere, literally. So look for a promise that the prophets have said, and fulfill it.
STEPHANIE & NATHALY
What powerful testimonies they have. Stephanie, the girlfriend of Jorge Luis, is progressing super super fast and she is going to be baptized at the end of this week! Although it is a little sad that she has to back to her ward afterward. But how awesome is that! With Nathaly, who is 11, told us that she wanted to be baptized. And we were thinking, BOOM, lets fulfill that desire. So we are helping her along that path. She is super attentive and quiet. And respond with practically the shortest responses you can think of but at the same time they are many times so profound. One question was, where did God come from? We we with her big sister, explained. I saw a little light of understanding fill her eyes. Our goal this week is to find a time to visit her with busy school and all.
Much Rain! Mucha Lluvia, has caused the family Galindez, with Abraham, and Reina, to think about moving because the water enters the house like the ceiling is made of nothing. So, we will be sad to see them go, but we smile and we know that the Hermana will be continuing the the gospel. Honestly, not much else has happened. Only trying to fix up the ward and helping people fulfill their duties.
