Organizing

This week was pretty great!

We started it off with a multi zone conference that was about the announcements for how church is different now. So we are adapting to work even more with members. I am going to get back and not know how to say any of the terms because the names are changing but I only learn them in Spanish. Like for example, “Ministración” makes me want to say ministration, but it is Ministering I think.

A member in Buijo, she is a pioneer in her family. Her and her sister and her sister´s husband are members in her family she is awesome. Her name is Juana.

We went with the Velasquez family who moved back from Milagro and they want to go to church this week. Two of the daughters got baptized so we are going to complete the family.

The Figueroa Family said they were not going to be able to make it to church but they came! Everyone in the family is a member except the dad. He seems skeptical but he really liked church! I´ll have to get a picture with them this week. They are from Venezuela but lived in Colombia for a good time.

The people in a part called Kilometer 10 aren´t coming to church D: So we are trying to find new people. One is named Hermano Vargas and he talked with the missionaries 5 years ago when his friends´ family got baptized. He is a good man. He works raising chicken and farm animals, some hires him in a place called Cortijo.

Okay we are trying to put the pedal to the metal with the ministering and getting people excited to do it. As missionaries, we just go around ministering people and sharing some organized lessons all day. That is pretty much it. Inviting people to come to Christ just makes my day every day.

Funny story (no picture so you don´t have to believe me hehe) But my comp and I were walking down the street and we found a tossed license plate! He picked it up and he said he has been looking for one his whole mission! What a find.

This morning I was listening to a talk by President Nelson and he was talking about the coincidences that happen are not only that, but divine. We have seen so many of those God-given experiences of finding people in the most unexpected situations. Anyway, have a good week!

We have no idea what fruit this is but it looks interesting

Atentamente,
Elder Wilhelm
