¡This was insane!
July 16, 2018
Okay from the top, I only have a couple minutes so I am going to try to write as much as I can right now. (Sorry beforehand because I didn’t take any pictures.)
So first day after transfers we go and we have 2 appointments at 8 on Monday. One in Vergeles and one with the family Servantes over in Albonor. We didn’t have time to visit them both. So I got to meet the wife of the Young Men’s president. His wife is not a member and we had a really cool moment because in the other lessons she literally said she wasn’t going to come to church for now, but she said that if everything goes right she would (she didn’t go, but little by little were getting there) .
So then on Wednesday we had a chance to visit the Servantes Family with the other Elders in Albonor, Elder Day and Elder Echegaray, who are still there managing the whole area, which is big. We also visited the Sister Lady Carranza, who said goodbye and gave me a tie. We helped the dad, Jonathan, resolve some doubts that he had about what the baptism is like and who is going to be there etc. So he is a little more excited. They had the baptismal interview this Thursday and they passed but the other elders are going to be working with them to encourage them follow all of the commandments. I will be able to go the baptism but I don’t know exactly when it will be because they have to fit it in with their schedule during the week. The wife, Yanina, doesn’t want to get baptized without her husband. Which is good 😀
Wowo we found 6 people this week to teach just by asking for directions and talking with members. You will hear about these six hopefully next week! I am super excited to tell you guys about them.
This ward is almost the center of the stake, it uses the stake building, but seriously, the ward helps on a level that is insane!!!

Edit:
Looks like I didn’t send any pictures from this week. Here are some pictures from my time in Vergeles with Elder Curtis. Next week has some other pictures as well.
