Goodbye! Sort of
July 9, 2018
Hello everyone.
This week has been crazy!
This week started off with a super interesting District meeting because my companion felt a little under the weather so the mission nurse came and so did the Mission President.
We have been working super hard to find new people we swept the lists of the church to find less actives who might have friends. We found several people who have family members who are members of the church so we set appointments to visit them this week. It was an awesome week but it still had it’s flaws.

The Servantes Family is getting super close to baptism. They are going to church every week, they are reading all the assignments. They really want to be baptized, but the husband wants to read the whole Book of Mormon like 3 times before he gets baptized because he wants to have as much knowledge as we as missionaries do.
Silvia Tocto: She has been progressing but never could come to church. Yesterday she came! She had a cool experience there! And we are teaching her dad English while he teaches us a bit of Kichwa. So the fellowshipping is awesome. Before he wouldn’t let her go to church even though she wanted to.
Then this morning, I get a call from the Assistants to the President, and they said that I have transfers to Vergeles!
What a reaction I had, with disbelief, I thought they were playing a joke. But, WOW, they were serious.
So I packed up my stuff. And I went 5 minutes north, within the same stake to Vergeles. I am super excited to be here because I had gone on companionship exchanges before and the ward is super strong.
My companion however, Elder Varela got sent to a stake called Milagro in the Pradera ward. about 30 minutes away in bus. So we were a little let down because of the progress we have been making, especially recently. But what happens here is probably because the Lord wants it to be like that.
I am super excited
By the way my new compañero is Elder Curtis. He is from Lehi, Utah! He is in the picture with blue eyes, hehe, In the last row with me.

Talk to you next week!
Atentamente,
Elder Wilhelm
