Another Earthquake!?

3 subjects for this week!

1. Earthquake

         We were going to wake up at 5:30 to go to a mission conference. But I wake up 5:20-ish and the house is vibrating. And I tell my comp to get down quick so we get down to the door and all our neighbors are outside. Everyone is kind of scared. (Apparently this earthquake was from far away.) Then we go inside and the other 3 elders hop in the shower (our place has 3 showers). And the second earthquake hits. This time it is super powerful. The WHOLE HOUSE was wobbling back and forth! Most intense earthquake I have ever felt. My brother says it was a 7.5. But super deep in the ground. So the other elders hop out of the shower with their towels on and run slipping left and right because they were wet. And we get down and we just wave to our neighbors sheepishly but also kind of frightened. Meanwhile the other elders from Samborondon Pueblo live on the fourth floor. They felt it the worst. They said it was nuts! They also hopped out in towels.

2. Richard!

      So we have been teaching this guy who has moved from Venezuela and he is finding work here like crazy. So we ask him to read the Book of Mormon, and he read like half of it! He doesn´t have a phone number but we used our friend who has WhatsApp to text him to invite him to church. He said he would! We went to pick him up and he was already ready even with the Book of Mormon! And headed off. Then this guy named Antonio from Samborondon Pueblo picked us up and said get in! And we asked him how much it was and said to just go ahead. I gave him a Book of Mormon and he said he spoke English and we got his phone number. They are going to visit him. We walk in with Richard and he just has the BEST time at church. We had agreed that he was going to get baptized on this Saturday. Everyone asked him and he was so excited. He is so awesome. He contributed in the church by bearing his testimony in the second hour and everything. You shall hear more the next week!

3. Conferences! 

       We had a bunch of conferences with the Area President, Elder Falabella. He is really awesome. His talks are really funny as well. So we had one on Friday and on Saturday. On Saturday we also got to bring converts. So we brought Miguel! He enjoyed it a lot. And I got to see many converts like Amparo from Guayacanes and Jaime from Samanes many other members. It was such an awesome experience. I am so happy for all of what they do.
