Navidad and New Year!
December 31, 2018
Christmas Eve:
We went to a family Home Evening at the Ordoñez house. They gave us a wonderful dinner and we shared a message with them about Luke 2.
Christmas Day:
We got to talk with our families! That was great. The Stake Relief Society President invited us for lunch and for the computers to make the call because all internet cafes were closed.
Then in the afternoon, we gave out toys and candy to kids in Samborondon! They we grateful for that.
Wednesday, District Council:
We had a companionship exchange that day. We were able to go to Samborondon and visit the Barzola Family who said they were going to take the trip to go to church by bus by themselves. They are so awesome and receptive. Every time we go they give us food! Then we passed by the Díaz Family and they said they would go to church in 2 weeks.
Elder Pineda is super awesome! He is always super patient with everyone!
Thursday, Charlie!
We passed by a recent convert from this year to see how he was doing and we found his brother, Charlie, who was released a month ago from an addiction recovery clinic. He has been studying the bible. He listened a little of the message before he had to go and we wants to go to church. (he didn’t go but we are going to visit to find out what happened)
Friday
We Passed by Hna Chavez, (the recent convert from last month)
She has been feeling a little uncomfortable going to church because she didn’t have a dress. So we are getting a dress for her from the members.
We also passed by Angie, who had a dream that missionaries passed by her house and said we are here and your life is going to change! She went to church, but felt a little uncomfortable.
CAMBIOS / TRANSFERS
Elder Hernandez leaves this week to Ventanas, Las Palmeras. He leaves Wednesday. My new companion is Elder Swain. He is from Roosevelt, Utah. He is super great! We are so excited to help the zone out as Zone Leaders!
For Christmas Day, as a zone we played Uno and Bop it and had a picnic.
We had a picnic!

The Mayorga Family!

Remember we gave a little Christmas tree to the Mayorga Family? Here it is!
