Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On
September 10, 2018
Hola everyone, today I am going to give a couple of points about this week!
Earthquake!-I was getting on a bus when it happened and we saw all the power lines start shaking so that was interesting but everyone is fine.
Office!-One day out of the week I will be helping the the office of the mission doing programming, automating, and doing work in the office.
Friends!-We had more people come to church this week and some came that we had previously stopped visiting because they weren’t going to church. So really the people that are really progressing towards baptism are Maria Teresa, the Suarez Family, the Carranza Family, the Mena Family, the Polit Family, Jully, and Richard. So really this week has gone crazy because of time and stuff.
Food! -The Ñuñez family gave us caldo de bola!
New people!-Raul, we talked to him in taxi and he called us later and said that he had some people for us to visit. So we went and he lead us to a house where 6 men from India are living. They don’t speak Spanish but they do speak English. We help them translate and they interesting in the gospel a bit, one of them is Christian but the others are Hindu So we are going to be helping them in these coming weeks! Something different that I always like to mention is that they nod their heads from side to side when they say yes hehe. Btw, they are from South India, I didn’t understand the name of the city, but is in the south. They are all from different districts.
Thanks for reading this different styled email!
Until then!
¡Hasta luego!
