¡Conferencia General!
April 2, 2018
Welcome Brothers and Sisters to the 27th-ish session of the emails of Elder Wilhelm,
Well this week sped past like no other week before. There are many things happening among our dear investigatores.
Nathaly (11) Ismael (27ish):
Nathaly came back from her aunts house, finally! She had a good time there, but she was over there because their refrigerator had been broken, so there was not much food to store. And Ismael, who is Nathaly and Joselin’s (23) cousin and has moved in next door. Another cousin also moved in. Her name is Natasha, and she has taken the missionary discussions before, but was confused by them and thought that we worship Joseph Smith or something (we don’t). So we have people to teach! It is just they were on vacation sort of or moving here. They are a really cool family. All really nice. Ismael is really important because he is going through some rough times and is looking to God through prayer to help out with his business. He has already seen the blessings.
The Familia Vacaro Barzola I think 😀
This family really wants to progress in the gospel. But the dad doesn’t really want to get married with is wife (they say wife even though they’re not married I know, it sounds worse to me to say his woman, but that is what some people say so yaaa) But she has been encouraging the dad to come to the conference. And He came! But promised only one hour. And he kept his promise. So ya little by little, poco a poco.
Alex!
I mentioned him last week but not much as has happened with him yet. One of this hardest things right now is getting to the houses of people when they are there.
The one in the know
Ok I would love to tell you a bit more but it is really interesting being the companion the knows the people and what we should do because when things go sideways, I’m the one who has to seek to set it straight. Whew!
General Conference
Ok I really really loved the conference, now that actually understood what they were saying in the translation. Some of things that I liked was:
– The translation of “what a prophet” in spanish is “Qué profeta” What prophet
– I really liked the theme that little actions over time will have huge consequences. For good or for bad. I learned that those little things add up.
Ok listo, Thanks for reading some more of how are investigators are doing.
Love you all
Elder Wilhelm
