Nathaly got baptized
May 6, 2019
So this week has been super duper really awesome! It started off with trying to coordinate everything for the baptism of Nathaly. And if you don’t remember who Nathaly is, she’s 12 and has been wanting to get baptized since we started teaching her a year and a half ago. The only thing that was stopping her from getting baptized was her mom. With much prayer from her family and us and the members, she got baptized! She has so many friends in the ward that there were 2 times more women than men were there at the baptism. And more than half of the men were us missionaries (some more missionaries came to the baptism too, like you’ll see in the picture.) It was such a spiritual experience for her and for her sister who is a member. And I know that she is going to keep being a big part of the ward!

Some other cool things that happened this week was, for example, that we found some kids that went to church because their uncle invited them. This past Saturday we visited their family and they are listening to the discussions and think that it is very interesting. They thought it would differ a lot more than it does from what they believe in. So the kids in that family had a friend over from Venezuela and we went to drop off the kid with the bishop and we met his family (Family Loiza). They have never talked with missionaries before and have been 9 months here in Ecuador. They are super awesome and they are enjoying the message of the gospel and are finding that the Book of Mormon makes sense! So we are very happy to continue working with them this week!
The other Family that I have been talking about, the Family Lazo, has been doing very good. The dad, who was very sick got better! And he is enjoying the Book of Mormon and finds it to be the word of God! And the wife is a little more talkative about what here religion is but she is studying too in the gospel. We are hoping and praying that they will be able to go to church this week!
Another family that we are hoping goes to church is Eduardo y Dayana. they are very good people and are trying to obey all the commandments. They just need to get married and go to church D: So we are helping them progress! Looks like that is all I have time for this week I hope you all have an excellent week!
Also this week we got to go to the temple, us as the old zone!
